Dorn Spinal Therapy Method
Dorn Spinal Therapy is a gentle and effective way to correct misalignments of the Spinal Column and other joints, which can reduce or eliminate back, neck and joint pain; sciatica; scoliosis; migraine; hip problems, and chronic inner conditions.
The Method is based on natural laws of physics and anatomy and combines traditional Chinese medicine with Western techniques and principals to maximise results.

The Origins
Dieter Dorn, a German farmer and sawmill owner, developed the method himself more than 30 years ago. The lay-healer has since trained hundreds of people in this wonderful technique and many are now practicing it with equal success.
The Basic Principles
The Dorn Method is a gentle vertebrae and joint treatment, helpful in treating illnesses directly or indirectly connected to the spinal column. It is completely safe and very effective.
The Dorn Method is based on the correction of uneven leg length, which can be diagnosed in almost every human today. Uneven legs can cause the pelvis to twist – or vice versa - often resulting in an asymmetrical, crooked or displaced spinal column.
Our muscles, especially tensed muscles, will always try to hold the positions of the joints and spine; when they are out of order the muscles assume this 'wrong' position as the correct one and work to maintain it. A ‘static’ correction of the spine, such as that employed in chiropractics, needs to overcome the strength of these holding muscles. This can be difficult as people undergoing chiropractic work are often tense since the treatment is done 'on' them and not 'with' them. The Dorn Method relaxes people by involving them in their therapy through motion, which diverts muscle tension and eases bone realignment.
Although the therapeutic pressure, which is actually a counter-pressure from the patient's side, encourages the bones to shift position, the whole functional unit of bones, ligaments, muscles and other tissues is treated at the same time because of the dynamic situation during this treatment.
Since corrective pressure is stopped as soon as ANY pain arises, the Dorn Method does not pose risk of injury or illness.
Positive results are often achieved immediately and, with some easy exercises that the patient does after the treatment, the Dorn Method can bring long-lasting pain relief.
